We are very proud of Steve for wanting to be apart of such a great organization. The St. Baldrick's Foundation helps raise money for children cancer research. Steve alone raised $90 to shave his head, and raised $60 on the spot to shave his mustache. Thank you everyone who helped make this event happen. This is something sponsored by the Fire Fighters and they are all very proud to be apart of it!!

Mom came to NC for a week to keep Brenna while her school was closed for two and a half weeks...it is a great time for MiMi and Brenna to get some extra bonding time and it helps us out a great deal. On Monday, even Poppa surprised us with a visit and they stayed until Thursday morning. We had a great time celebrating Christmas and enjoying each others company.

Wednesday we went to the Cliff's of the Neuse nature trail and took some amazing pictures.

This morning we went to Santa's Workshop, played some games, made some crafts, made and ate a cookie with Mrs. Clause, and had a nice visit with Santa himself.

We were asked to ride in the Fire Truck for the Goldsboro Parade. Well, on our way it started snowing...and it continued to snow for the rest of the evening. It was lots of fun riding in the parade in the fire truck and watching the snow fall.

Steve took Brenna to church Saturday morning and they had a Polar Express Themed Breakfast with Santa (and Mrs. Clause). They had lots of fun riding on a hay ride (the train), making some food for the reindeers, making a reindeer, and eating pancakes.

We are having so much fun at Disney World this week...and we still have so much more to do. Monday we spent the day at the Magic Kingdom, Tuesday we went to Animal Kingdom all morning and went to see the Parade of lights at night. Today, Wednesday we are off to Hollywood Studios. We had a very busy but fun Saturday this weekend. She wasn't interested in being Dora for the fall festival so we just happen to have a very cute Cheerleading outfit in the closet that worked perfect for the night. What a fun night with, lots of games to play, some good food, cookie decorating and even Steve and I played musical chairs.

Brenna has a packed weekend...starting today at school. They will have a Halloween party and parade at school today. Tonight we will go downtown and do some trick-or-treating with the local business, and Saturday night we have our Fall Festival at church. She was very excited to put on her costume this morning!!

She loved the animals so much...even got up close and personal.

At first she only wanted mommy to feed the animals and then she got brave and put her hand out for the animals to eat some food.

While we were in TN, we went to a farm to see all the animals and went on a hay ride, went on a barrel ride and had so much fun. The weather was perfect outside for our morning on the farm.

On Saturday I needed to go the grocery store and on the way we saw "The Garden Spot Festival" was this weekend...so I did my grocery shopping and we went back to play for a little while. While we were eating dinner tonight Brenna started singing a new song to us. I just had to record it because it is so cute. Especially pay attention to the different tones in her voice with grandma and grandpa. I am not sure why it gets a little blurry at the end but make sure to watch all the way through...she has a cute smile right at the end of the video.

Brenna now weights 29 lbs (33%) and is 36 inches tall (18%). She did great yesterday...broke my heart when she got her two shots but she was a trooper and only cried for a few minutes!! Can't believe how much she is growing, my baby is a turning into a beautiful big girl.

Our church has family fun nights through the year and this time we made it to the Water Park in Kinston (we didn't even know this water park was here). The water was cold at first but then she got used to it and had a really good time.

Our night started with Zaxy's for dinner. We received a free kids meal coupon in the mail for her birthday.

Then off the Chuck-E-Cheese not only did we have a coupon for 20 free tokens for her birthday but since we went on her birthday, she got a cool sticker and three extra tokens for turning three!!

Then to finish our night we went to Cold Stone for some ice cream, yet another free coupon for a kids free cup with one mixing, he picked what she wanted all by herself...mint ice cream with gummy bears. We had a great night as a family!! Happy 3rd Birthday to Brenna.

We had such a good time at the beach this weekend and we celebrated Brenna's 3rd birthday too. Thank you Pa and Grandma for the Dora scooter, Dora roller skates and Dora beach towel and the awesome Dora birthday party. Thank you Aunt RaRa and Shane for the Dora doll. Thank you Uncle Jon Jon and Aunt Brooke for the adorable Dora outfit, Dora coloring book and Dora DVD. We had so much fun as always when we went to the beach to visit family. Our Trip to FL with MiMi!!

MiMi came to town to visit us and we decided to take a trip to FL to visit some friends and family. We went to Melbourne, Tampa, Clearwater and Gainsville. Yes we visited a lot of people in a very short amount of time.

Our first stop was in Melbourne to meet baby Bradley, Kristina's newest edition...he was a cutie pie. Brenna loved to talk to him and play with him...but she was not at all interested in mommy holding him.

We then went to Tampa to eat dinner with Grandma Great and Tony, we had a nice dinner. Then we traveled to Uncle John and Aunt Naomi's house to stay for a few nights. Brenna loved having a pool right in the backyard where she spend the time...she got in both nights we were stayed.

I absolutely love the DVD player in the car...and so does Brenna.

We then traveled onto to Clearwater to go to church and see a lot of mom's friends she hasn't seen in about a year. Brenna and I then went to visit Kristin, Reese and meet baby Anna. Reese and Brenna were so cute together and had so much fun swimming and playing together.

Our final stop was on the way home in Gainsville to see Cousin Amber and eat lunch with her. We were only gone for 4 days with a lot of driving but it was worth the time we were able to spend with each family.

She loves her pool, we try to get in a few times during the weekends when its not so hot outside. The pool size is perfect because she can walk all around the pool with no problems at all. We are learning how to kick and blow bubbles.

So...I was playing with Brenna's hair one night and decided to try pigtails...she liked it for a little while and then wanted me to take them out...but I got in a picture before I took them out, they were so cute (hopefully she will let me do it again soon).

Pa and Grandma bought Brenna a swimming pool last year for this summer, well we got around to putting it together and filling it with water today. It was to cold to go in today but hopefully before the long weekend is over we will be going for a swim. THANKS PA AND GRANDMA!!

This weekend was another fun-filled one. On Saturday, we went to Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA and Jazz on George Street. On Sunday, we were honored to go to Kate Horton's baptism.

The next few weeks and weekends are going to be busy ones for us (we have lots of fun things planned)!!

While MiMi was visiting, I had to work at an event for the Boys & Girls Club called the Pig in the Park. It was filled with music, vendors and a kids area. Brenna loved to ride, look and pet all the animals that were there at the festival.

So, for a few weeks now I have been planning a surprise 30th birthday party for daddy...and I really think I pulled it off. I had lots of help from family and friends from helping me get the house ready to keeping Steve away from the house until all the guests arrived. We all had so much fun...you would have thought it was Brenna's birthday too, she got lots of fun stuff to play with and wear too!! Steve's turns 30 this Friday (the 26th) so we celebrated a little early with lots of friends and family!!

So....last week we had two mornings that Brenna just walked into our bedroom, yes that means she climbed out of her crib. We decided this meant it was time to convert her bed to a big girl bed. Today was her first day, she did really good at nap-time and so far night time hasn't been bad. Please keep us in your prayers for the next couple weeks, that we don't have a little girl coming into our bedroom in the middle of the night.

We saw, elephants, zebras, horses, dogs, tigers, lots of clowns, lots of people flying in the air and lots more...Steve and I enjoyed it just as much as Brenna did.

Pee Pee In the Potty!!

An awesome update on Brenna and her potty training. She is doing better and better everyday with using the potty. She gets very excited still when she uses the big girl potty. We have even started our own potty song... "Pee Pee in the Potty, not in our pants" she is doing so good for us. Just another milestone that shows she is growing up so fast.

So...Friday night we went out as a family and on our way home it started to snow, and then when we woke up in the morning we found 5 and 1/2 inches of nice fluffy, fun to play in snow. Everything was beautiful...and Brenna made her first snow angel.

We had to replace our hardwood floors in our dining room because of some water damage. Steve has been working hard on them for two days. The first day taking it all up and the second day putting the new stuff down with a good friend. They look beautiful!!

So, Saturday morning we woke up to snow covering the ground. Then most of the day it was sleeting. Saturday night is snowed some more!! Brenna and I have been inside for two days straight now (I don't want to drive out in that mess). We have colored, done some science experiments, read a lot of books, and we are trying to be a big girl again on the potty!!

New Home Improvements!!

Well we have been working hard on our upstairs trying to get it finished. My dad and Steve spend two whole days upstairs finishing putting up all the sheet rock and putting up the first layer of mud. We still have some work to do but it is so nice now that it is really starting to look more and more like a room. We are also taking any and all volunteers that want to come and help!!

We had lots of plans for this Saturday. We started our morning by eating breakfast in a new restaurant, then we went to a Santa's workshop and got some reindeer food, made a reindeer ornament, decorated a cookie and had a chance to see Santa Clause. Then we stopped by the mall for a little shopping. In the afternoon we went to the Christmas Parade and Jingle in the park, then our last stop was at Chick-fil-a to see Santa Cow. She did so good today...it was so much fun. I just love this time of year.

Our new church that we started going to a few weeks ago has a great kids program which is one of the biggest reason we decided to switch churches. This Saturday they had a breakfast with Santa and daddy took her. They eat pancakes made some really fun things, but Brenna was not interested in sitting in Santa Clause lap.

I know it has been a little while since I have posted some pictures. We have all had a cold off and on in the last few weeks, and now daddy has it. But, I think Brenna only has a runny noise now...thank goodness. Last weekend was a busy weekend for us. Ted (Brenna's man) got baptized and we were invited to join on his special day.

We just put up all the Christmas decorations this weekend, I will try to get a few pictures up soon of the house. Brenna loves to touch the tree and point out the stockings.

Tonight in downtown goldsboro they have something they call Boo It Downtown that we decided to attend this year. Brenna had such a good time. Then we went to a friends church for their fall festival and played a few games, got to ride on a pony and did a trunk or treat. It was a lot of fun.

This weekend, we were able to spend some time with one of my college friends who has a three month old baby boy named Colt. He was so cute and so much fun for Brenna to play with. On a personal note at the Tyndall home, we had a few exciting things happen around the house. We had some all our tile replaced. The foyer, kitchen, hallway, and spare bathroom, it was a big undertaking but we are very happy with the job that was done. We are also in the middle of finishing our upstairs bonus room...that is going to be a long work in progress.

Princess Brenna, we went to Chick-fil-a for dinner and there was a clown that painted on Brenna's face...she did a whole lot better than I thought she would. She also got a ballon dog.

Well I must say this weekend has been action packed and its only going to get better!! Saturday, we went to the La Grange Garden Spot Festival, and to Wayne Community Day. At the Festival we rode on a helicopter ride and had a yummy cherry home made snow cone. Then at Wayne Community Day we jumped in a bounce house, and went through an obstacle course, we even got lots of free stuff and coupons...all in all we had a great day. Oh yeah and we have started the potty training process this weekend, I am going to have to say she likes to sit on the potty but there really isn't much going on while she is on the potty. We will keep at it though!! And the only getting better part is our MiMi is coming to visit on Wednesday!!!!

A Day at the Pool!!

We went over to a friends pool this weekend and enjoy the fresh air and get a little wet. She wasn't a big fan of getting in the water but she did like to kick her feet while sitting on the side of the pool.

Last night for dinner I decided to try a big girl cup instead of a sippy cup (they have been working with her at school on this) she did so great for me last night didn't spill any of it on her. I can't believe my baby is getting so big so fast!!

What a blast we had a Brenna's birthday party...we had lots of people at the house, lots of food to eat and lots of fun with our family and friends. 2 Year Check-up!!

Brenna went for her two year check-up...she is doing great they said. She is now weighing in at 25lbs, and 33 inches tall. No shots which was very nice too, and now we don't have to go back until she turns 3.

She has quite the personality too, she puts three and four words together...which is so amazing and sometimes nice at the same time I finally know what she wants now that she can ask for it (most of the time).

We went to visit Pa this weekend in Wilmington, but while he was working on Saturday we went to the Zoo. Brenna had so much fun running around and seeing all the animals. She would tell us the animals by name and the sound they make...she loved the monkey's the best, in fact we still talk about the monkey's. She really liked the donkey too, since we see the donkey on Shrek just about everyday.

We were lucky enough to attend Brenna's Birthday party at her school. Brenna made the "Happy Cakes" and they all got a little goodie bag to take home with them. It was fun to watch all the kids eat the cupcakes and interact with each other. Brenna even read me a book before I had to go back to work.

So, tonight we had to make cupcakes for Brenna's 2nd Birthday party at school. I told her we were making cupcakes for her party and she called them "Happy Cakes" I couldn't argue with that, because I know they make me happy.

So, we have been spending a lot of time outside lately...the weather has been beautiful. Brenna's friend London comes over every once in a while, and they love to chase each other up the ladder and down the slide.

We also went to a baseball game with some friends and had a blast. Brenna stayed up very late..but just meant she slept in the next morning.

We had some fun company this weekend, Saturday: Charity, GW and the new baby Tristian come over to visit with us for a little while, before staying with us starting Tuesday. And on Sunday: Pa, Grandma and Aunt RaRa came over to visit. Pa and Grandma brought Brenna a turtle sand box with lots of fun sand toys...so far every night we have been out to play in it!! Thanks for the sand box and fun toys Pa and Grandma.

So, we don't have daddy home for an entire weekend very often, but when we do we like to take advantage of the situation. Here is a recap of our fun day together: big breakfast at home, ride to Raleigh, Marbles kids museum, sandwiches for lunch, walk around the mall, naps on the ride home, big dinner, swimming, swinging, Popsicles, bath-time...and we even went poop in the potty!! It was a very fun day and worth every minute of it.

So, my MiMi and PopPop came to visit last week...and we put PopPop and daddy to work (Hard, Hot Work). They started working on our unfinished bonus room upstairs. I have taken a few before and after pictures to show you the progress. Thank you so much PopPop and daddy for all your hard work, now we still have a lot to do to finish the room, so we are wondering when PopPop is coming back to finish!!

MiMi took very good care of Brenna while all the construction was going on, all the way to having several tea parties a day to making a cake, eating the batter oh yeah and then eating the cake.

Even PopPop got to have a little fun at night with Brenna.

So, today it was a nice day to be outside...we finally put up Brenna's pool and let her play in it. She loved it, then we went and played in daddy's sprinkler while he was trying to water the grass...she did great and loved every minute of being outside and getting wet.

Brenna's New Swing Set!!

So, a few weeks ago we bought Brenna (with the help of MiMi and PopPop) a new swing set for our backyard. It took Steve several days and nights after working all day to put the swing set together...but it is done, and Brenna loves it. We have to go out every night, and go on the glider, the big swing, the baby swing and down the slide a few times. The baby swing is by far her favorite part of the swing set.

Brenna started a new daycare two weeks ago, and I think she is doing and adjusting well. I am very happy she is back playing with other kids and learning to share!!
